Tenancy Deposit Claim Pack (England)
GBP 19. Instant download after payment. One-off price, no subscription. No VAT is charged.
Templates, checklists and step-by-step guidance for a tenant in England whose landlord did not protect their deposit, or did not give the required information, within 30 days.
What it is
A practical, self-help pack of eleven documents that takes you from checking your facts, through a letter before claim, to a County Court claim, and through settlement or enforcement. It is based on sections 212 to 215 of the Housing Act 2004 and the Civil Procedure Rules, checked against legislation.gov.uk, gov.uk and the Ministry of Justice rules site on 30 October 2026.
If the court finds the landlord breached the rules, it must order the landlord to pay between one and three times the deposit. The court chooses where in that range the award falls, and it decides every claim on the facts and evidence. The pack does not promise any result.

Who it is for
- Tenants in England with a private landlord or letting agent, on an assured tenancy (including tenancies that were assured shorthold tenancies before 1 May 2026).
- Tenants whose deposit was never protected, was protected late, or who were never given (or were given late) the Prescribed Information.
- Tenants who are comfortable handling their own paperwork and, if needed, a County Court claim without a solicitor.
Where it applies
England only. It does not cover Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland. It is not for tenants of councils or housing associations, or for lodgers living with their landlord. It assumes the tenancy was running on or after 1 May 2026; if yours ended before then, the pack tells you what to check.
What it is not
- It is not legal advice. Noverquis Ltd is not a law firm and is not regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority or any other legal regulator. Buying the pack does not create a solicitor-client relationship.
- It is not an official or court document. The templates are not issued by any court or government body. You must use the current official court forms (such as Form N208), which you download free from gov.uk.
- It is not a guarantee. The court decides whether to make an award and how much.
- It does not cover disputes about deductions for damage, cleaning or rent where the deposit was protected on time. For those, use your deposit scheme's free dispute service.
- It does not give personalised advice on your case. For complex cases, large sums or if you fear eviction, speak to a solicitor, a law centre, Shelter or Citizens Advice.
